Terms of Service
Last updated: 2025
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are a legal agreement between you (“you,” “your,” or “Customer”) and surveyi (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By creating an account, accessing surveyi, or sending surveys through our platform, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use surveyi.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and have the authority to enter into agreements on behalf of yourself or the business you represent. You’re responsible for ensuring that your use of surveyi complies with applicable law where you operate.
2. Our service
surveyi is an AI-driven feedback platform. We generate and deliver dynamic surveys, capture responses and behavioral signals (like tone, hesitation, or edits), and surface insights and alerts to help you understand what people experienced.
We may update, improve, or change features over time. We may also suspend or discontinue parts of the service if we believe it’s necessary for performance, safety, compliance, or security.
3. Your account
You’re responsible for:
- Keeping your login credentials secure
- Making sure the information in your account is accurate
- All activity that happens under your account, including surveys you send and the way you use feedback data you collect
If you believe your account has been accessed without permission, please contact us right away.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to use surveyi to:
- Violate any law, including privacy laws or anti-spam regulations
- Collect sensitive personal data without proper consent (for example: health info, financial account numbers, government IDs, etc.)
- Harass, threaten, or target individuals in an abusive way
- Attempt to probe, scan, or test the security/vulnerability of surveyi’s infrastructure
- Reverse engineer, copy, resell, or create a competitor using our models, UI, or analytics output
We may suspend or terminate accounts that abuse the platform or put us, respondents, or other customers at risk.
5. Content and data ownership
a. Your survey content
You own the survey campaigns you create and the raw responses you collect. You’re responsible for how you use that data.
b. Insights, analysis, and derived data
We generate insights, scores, summaries, flags (“this person may need follow-up”), and other analysis from survey activity. We may also generate aggregate learnings (for example: “Top causes of frustration this week are wait time and scheduling delays”).
We may use this derived/aggregated data internally to improve the service, train models, and build new features. When we use it this way, we try to remove or limit personal identifiers.
c. Our platform
We (surveyi) own the platform, the survey delivery flow, the machine learning / AI logic, the dashboard, and the UI. You are not granted any rights to copy, sell, or sublicense surveyi except for using the service as intended under these Terms.
6. Billing and subscriptions
Some parts of surveyi are paid. When you upgrade to a paid plan, billing is handled through a third-party payment processor (for example, Stripe). By starting a paid plan, you authorize us and our payment processor to charge you for subscription fees, taxes, and any other charges disclosed at checkout.
Plans generally renew automatically unless you cancel. You can cancel at any time, and your access will continue through the end of your current billing period. We may change pricing going forward, and if we do, we’ll communicate that in advance.
We may suspend or downgrade service if payment fails or if your usage exceeds the limits of your current plan (for example: free tier caps on responses or campaigns).
7. Availability and changes
We work to keep surveyi reliable and available, but we can’t promise 100% uptime. We may pause or limit parts of the service for maintenance, security reasons, or to address abuse. We’re not liable for any loss or cost that results from downtime, delays, or changes in the service.
8. No guarantees
surveyi helps you interpret feedback, sentiment, and friction points. We surface suggestions (for example, “reach out to this person”), but we don’t control what you do with that information or the outcome of that outreach. We do not guarantee increased retention, satisfaction, revenue, reviews, or any particular business result.
9. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, surveyi and its team will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages (including loss of revenue, loss of goodwill, lost data, or business interruption), even if we’ve been advised of the possibility of those damages. Our total liability under these Terms is limited to the amount you’ve paid us in the 3 months before the event giving rise to the claim.
10. Termination
You can stop using surveyi at any time. You can also request account closure. We may suspend or terminate your access (including paid access) if:
- you violate these Terms,
- you use surveyi in a way that creates legal risk for us or others,
- you attempt to interfere with, disrupt, or overload the service.
After termination, we may keep certain data as required by law, for security, dispute resolution, fraud prevention, or internal record-keeping. See our Privacy Policy for more on retention.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which surveyi is organized and operates in the United States (without regard to conflict of law principles). Any disputes will be handled in that jurisdiction.
12. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we’ll update the date at the top and, when appropriate, notify account owners directly. Your continued use of surveyi after changes go live means you accept the updated Terms.
